In the June issue of "Vogue Polska", we look at layers as metaphor of identity, memory and a changing world. "Fashion has always been multidimensional, multidisciplinary, multicultural because it appreciated the weight of layers, it liked to juggle them - with fabrics stacked on top of each other, experiences passed down from generation to generation, stories stitched from memories and dreams," writes editor-in-chief Ina Lekiewicz Levy in a letter to readers.
June, the international pride month of people from the LGBT+ community, was also an opportunity to invite transgender people to the covers of our magazine. Julia Właszczuk meets Alin Szewczyk - a model, actor and artist, who talks about growing up in Warsaw's Ursynów, coming out as a transgender person and finding her own place in the world of fashion and art.
